Jacob is a Development Practitioner with over 30  years post graduate experience. He has a successful hands-on track record of managing development projects/programmes including the EU/Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) Microprojects Programme and the World Bank/GRZ Social Investment Fund (ZAMSIF). Jacob has wide experience in capacity development  for sustainable development at the regional, district and sub-district levels. He has worked as facilitator of processes and application of participatory methods in rural development including participatory monitoring and evaluation. Jacob has worked and lived in Central, Northern and Southern Provinces of Zambia and has travelled extensively to all the regions of Zambia.  In the last 5 years Jacob has conducted extensive quantitative, qualitative and mixed research  climate change, social protection and impact evaluation with a wide range of actors and stakeholders. Jacob has  in the recent past built and refreshed his skills and knowledge base in sustainable development by attending short intensive courses with some top ranked international universities and multilateral institutions in subjects including: sustainable development, managing risk for development, water policy and climate change.
